The sanskrit word ‘Swadhyay’ translates to “the work accomplished after deeply reflecting upon one’s self”.
The idea of Swadhyay began with this notion that, while a child gets exposure & access to continuous guidance from adults towards making decisions or choices; but for an adult or youth, these decisions become more and more independent in nature. It is, therefore, crucial for a youth to be aware of his/her strengths, interests and areas of improvement to be able to make informed life decisions.
