All Under One Roof

Facilitation for Graduation

In Rural Youth Fellowship, learning sessions for graduation subjects (BA or B.Com) are held regularly as the fellow pursues graduation in self-learning mode from the reputed universities of the Government of Rajasthan, i.e., Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Shekhawati University, Sikar (for Dundlod branch) and Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur (for Udaipur branch). The fellow receives his/her Bachelor’s degree from the university itself.

21st century skills

The fellowship’s 10,000-hour curriculum of academic and non-academic activities is based on the 21st century skills defined by the World Economic Forum.

Exposure Visits

Learning always takes place outside the comfort zone, wherefore, we have multiple core processes in the program, such as, Market Immersion, Community Project, Learning Journey, etc, that provide the right kind of organisational, educational and social exposure to our fellows.

SEL Based Learning

Teenage is full of energy and to achieve the best possible outcomes, this energy needs to be channelised. This is why Rural Youth fellowship’s processes focus on imparting the skills that help to reflect upon, understand and manage one’s emotions as well as empathise with others.

Effective Communication

Communication is one of the top-10 employability skills. Through our one-to-one mentoring, presentations, volunteering, and exposure visits, our fellows get the required space to practice communicating effectively and excel at it.

Career Guidance

Our fellows receive continuous assistance from their mentors in exploring and understanding their strengths and weaknesses. Further, based on their understanding and our insight, they are assisted in choosing the field(s) they resonate with.

Work Experience

Rural Youth Fellowship ensures a minimum of 1500-1800 hours of work experience and certification of the same during the fellowship years. This means that post graduating, every Rural Youth Fellow holds an experience of working in the real market.

Competitive Exam

The fellowship prepares a fellow for CET (Common Eligibility Test) examination which, as per new government norms, is a common entrance test for all Central government jobs in the sectors SSC, Railways, and Banking.

Competencies

The 4Cs, i.e., Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity are the most valued skills in today’s market. The simplified teaching methodologies of Rural Youth Fellowship make the learning of these competencies enjoyable and their application, a habit of our fellows.
